Piggs Peake Winemaker’s Dinner

Some wineries follow the rulebook. Piggs Peake prefers to bend it. On Wednesday 12th and Thursday 13 August 2026, playful, fearless winemaking stories comes to Annata for one unforgettable evening.

Join winemaker Steve Langham of Piggs Peake Winery as he hosts a five-course Winemakers Dinner curated by Executive Chef Jordon Garcia opening with a welcome snack paired with the 2022 Ham Pain Bottled Fermented Chardonnay Sparkling and closing with petit fours alongside the legendary Suckling Pig Shiraz — the signature dessert wine created to pair with cheese.

In between, courses one to four each arrive with two 60ml pours served side by side, inviting you to compare the wines on their own and with our matching menu. Classics like the 2026 Lemon Pig Semillon, 2026 Wiggly Tail, 2024 Samhain Chardonnay and the 2026 Pinot Gris all provide a great variety of whites. The second part of the night has some classic reds, including the 2023 Spamish Tempranillo Blend, 2024 Biroldo Sangiovese, 2023 Full Boar Durif and the stunningly delicious 2023 The Cutter Shiraz.

Throughout the night, Steve will share his winemaking; philosophy, the methods behind each wine, and plenty of light-hearted stories from a career spent doing things differently. By the end, you won’t just have tasted ten remarkable wines; you’ll understand them.

Five courses curated by our SMH hatted Executive Chef; Jordon Garcia. Ten wines and One winemaker who delights in twisting the rules. Seats are limited and these evenings book quickly.
