Saturday Afternoons@ Annata returns on Saturday 17th October when our very special guest, Sally Scarborough, joins us from the iconic Scarborough Wine Co. in the Hunter Valley. Sally will personally present eight of her family's beautiful wines and tell us the story of Scarborough.

Since 1987, Scarborough has been one of the Hunter Valley's most celebrated family wineries, best known for chardonnay of real depth and generosity, but their range runs far wider than that. Sally, who leads the winery's marketing and sales as the family's self-styled "Chardonnay Queen," will guide you through: Green Label Semillon; 2025 Obsessive Semillon; Offshoot Pinot Grigio; Offshoot Chardonnay; Yellow Label Chardonnay; Offshoot Tempranillo; Black Label Shiraz; and 2023 Keeper of the Flame Shiraz. From crisp Semillon and richly textured Chardonnay to a bright Pinot Grigio, an unexpected Tempranillo, and two structured Shiraz, the lineup shows how far Scarborough's range stretches beyond the Chardonnay they built their name on. It's a rare chance to taste across three generations of Hunter Valley winemaking in one afternoon, straight from someone who has lived every vintage of it.

As always, Saturday Afternoons at Annata combines gourmet grazing-style food with relaxed, guided wine tasting. Chat with Sally and fellow wine lovers as you taste your way through the range, and if something in your glass wins you over, all eight wines will be available to purchase on the day at discounted prices, with no delivery charge for pickup at Annata.
