Scarborough winemaker's dinner with Jerome Scarborough
Scarborough winemaker's dinner with Jerome Scarborough

Some wineries chase trends. Scarborough has spent nearly forty years perfecting the classics. On Wednesday 11th November 2026, one of the Hunter Valley's great family wineries comes to Annata for one unforgettable evening.
Join winemaker Jerome Scarborough of Scarborough Wine Co as he hosts a five-course Winemakers Dinner curated by Executive Chef Jordon Garcia, opening with a welcome snack paired with a generous 125ml pour of the Scarborough Museum Release 'The Obsessive' Semillon, and closing with the 2025 Late Harvest Semillon, a luscious dessert wine to finish the night.
In between, courses one to four each arrive with two 60ml pours served side by side, inviting you to compare the wines on their own and with our matching menu. The whites showcase the breadth of the family range: the 2025 Offshoot Verdelho, 2026 Offshoot Vermentino, 2023 'The Obsessive' Chardonnay and the 2022 Keepers of the Flame Chardonnay. The second part of the night turns to the reds, including the Classic Range Pinot Noir, 2023 Keepers of the Flame Shiraz Tempranillo, the 2021 'The Obsessive' Shiraz and the 2023 Keepers of the Flame Shiraz Viognier.
Throughout the night, Jerome will share his winemaking philosophy, the methods behind each wine, and plenty of light-hearted stories from a lifetime in a Hunter Valley wine family. By the end, you won't just have tasted ten remarkable wines; you'll understand them.
Five courses curated by our SMH hatted Executive Chef; Jordon Garcia. Ten wines and one winemaker keeping the family flame burning.
