Annata is honoured to welcome one of Australia’s most revered winemakers, Andrew Spinaze, for an exclusive winemaker dinner on Thursday 3rd July. As Chief Winemaker at Tyrrell’s Wines, Andrew has spent over 40 vintages crafting wines of precision, elegance, and place, guiding Tyrrell’s into its modern era while preserving its deep Hunter Valley heritage. This special evening will feature a tasting of ten magnificent wines selected by Andrew, showcasing his classic winemaking styles and vintages with many superstar wines including Vat1, Vat 47 and Vat 9. This is a rare opportunity to gain personal insight into the philosophy, history, and stories behind these benchmark wines, directly from the winemaker himself. Tyrrell’s was recognised as Australia’s No 1 winery by Halliday Wine Companion’s Top 100 Wineries of 2024 and was named in the Top 50 World’s Most Admired Wine Brands by Drinks International, in March 2025.
To complement these wines, Executive Chef Jordon Garcia has curated a five-course degustation menu, meticulously paired to elevate each glass. The evening will commence with a refined amuse bouche and conclude with petit fours, ensuring a complete and immersive dining experience.
